Residential Christmas light installation, start to finish

Highlighting Utah designs, installs and takes down custom Christmas lights for homes across Utah County and Salt Lake County. We measure your roofline and design the lighting around it. We supply commercial-grade lights, and our licensed, insured crew hangs them with clips, with no drilling or stapling. You never climb a ladder.

The package covers the whole season. If a strand goes out, we come back and fix it at no extra cost. In January we take everything down and haul it away, so there is nothing for you to store. Install slots fill quickly as the holidays approach, so we recommend booking by early November.

Pricing

What does Christmas light installation cost?

Every quote is priced per foot of roofline, measured from your home, with the complexity of the roofline taken into account. That one price covers the lights, the design, the installation, repairs to anything that goes out during the season, and the takedown in January. There is no separate charge for removal. Seasonal lights or permanent lights?

We install seasonal Christmas lights. They go up for the holidays with clips, with no drilling or stapling, and in January they come down and go into storage. Nothing stays on your house for the rest of the year, and there is no track to mount on your fascia.

Highlighting Utah (“we”, “us”) installs and removes Christmas lights for homes and businesses in Utah County and Salt Lake County. This policy explains what information we collect through highlightingutah.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information you give us

When you request a quote, send us a message, fill in your install details or use the member portal, we collect what you enter: your name, phone number, email address, service address, and details about your home and the lights you want. If you pay us or use a referral link, we keep a record of that payment or referral.

How we use it

We use your information to prepare and send your quote, schedule and carry out your installation and takedown, send invoices and reminders by email or text message, answer your questions, and run our referral program. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Who helps us

We use service providers to run the business: Google (Firebase) stores the information you submit, and other providers deliver our emails and text messages and process payments. They handle your information only to provide those services to us. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

This site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use it, and Google Ads to show our ads and measure whether they lead to quote requests, messages or phone calls. These Google services use cookies and similar technology, and Google may use them to show our ads to people who have visited this site. When you submit a quote request, a scrambled (hashed) copy of your email address and phone number may be sent to Google so it can tell us whether an ad led to your request; Google does not receive them in readable form for that purpose.
